pulleys are still making noise
My pulleys have been making a churping noise for a while now and it just got out the shop and while it was in there the guy said some of them were loose and he tightened em up. Well yeah the noise was gone until i drove it home which is about a 15 minute drive and then i heard the noise again. We put the belt back on ourselves a while back because it popped off, could we of stretched the belt? Could that cause it to have a churping noise? It's when my foot isnt on the gas, when its on it it wont do it.

RE: pulleys are still making noise
Take the belt off. Check the pullies for abnormal wear.
You may have a bad tensioner ( totally acceptable since they are a wear item) that is leading to the belt not being tight enough.
Hence your chirping noise.
Tensioners are about $45 at Napa. Easy, 30 minute job.
Great luck to you,
Ivan
