I know this might be a stupid question, but are jegs crate motors any good? my friend was asking me if the crate motors on jegs were anygood because he is thinking about buying a foxbody without an engine. so are the crate motors that jegs sell anygood or not?

Which crate motor? The ford racing ones are obviously good in quality, people have been using them for years with no problems.

on-line crate engine should be reliable I wouldnt worry about that.

as far as being a good deal........ with a little research you can always piece together
a better engine and have someone put it together for you for the same or less money
usually. and have it exactly the way you want it with no compromises

I wouldnt touch a ford racing crate motor now, or recommend one. Now that they are farmed out to the lowest bidder
