i'm going through my parts wish list for my engine build and i came to balencers and i realized ihave no idea how to pick one. Do you need to get one to match what your engine was balanced at?

romac, leave those silly fluid or internal weight dampers alone, so you have a balanced rotating assembly but no balancer?

yeah i believe thats whats happening. its an assembled short block thats already balanced but i dont think i get a balancer with it. cheap bastards

hmm I wonder how people balance a rotating without giving you the needed parts for balance, unless its 50oz and they just tell you to get a 50 balancer.

nevermind. i emailed the guy and he said im gettinga 28oz balancer and flexplate with the assembly. nice to get all my info up front!


so now the question is, who wants to buy a damper and flexplate so i can get a better balancer?
