Default transmission help

alright guys i have a chance to pick up a tremec t45 from a 98 gt for real real cheap. does anyone know if that transmission will at all possible fit my 92 gt 5.0 ok ok lemme know asap

The input shaft is longer on the 94+ models I think, so I don't know if there's an easy fix to make it fit or if you'd have to change out the whole input shaft.

That's for a T5. The t45 came on the 4.6 mod motors....
