So do I want the stud mount heads?

58cc's sound good.

Does it matter between stud and pedestal besides the rocker configuration?

factory shortblock? I would run stud mounted but thats just me, figure your compression ratio with whatever cc size you want. http://sbftech.com/index.php/topic,93.0.html

Yea. Factory block. I may swap it out one day if I make too much power for it to handle and I still want more.

Right now, I don't want too much, I just want a street car that will own most of the things around here.

the 58cc chamber will give the highest compression but not much more then stock... about 9.5:1

i run the 58cc with my sc and it seems to be a good combo. running the stock springs and dont have any valve float but i dont rev past 5500
