just curious...is a 460 more expensive to build up vs. a 400?

ohhhhhhhhhhh sorry, umm let's see here. No they will be about the same in theory. You can however build a 460 and make 450hp with a bone stock C8-C9-D0VE head. If you running a truck with large tires and so forth, gonna hard to beat a big block for grunt.

as far as the small 600 using a stub stack will give you another 20 cfm's and changing the linkage cam to a faster rate will help with that low end grunt.. throttle response will be good...also milling the horn will help as well

Re Cam: Comp extreme flat hydraulic 262 cam 218 224 @.050 with .513/.520 lift on a 110 lobe sep. This is a 120 dollar cam through summit and it will pull like a beast from idle to 5500 in that 400 inch motor.

thanks alot guy's...i think what's all said this 400 will make this 5000lb beast move pretty good...

gas mpg already sucks in this thing so maybe with a better performing,and breathing engine it might be better?
