I am about to tackle an AOD to T5 swap in my 1984 5.0 CFI. I am still in search of my T5. In buying a used T5, is there some way that I can tell the condition of the transmission before I have to hand over the cash? what are some things I should look out for or test for, like common cracks anywhere, or feeling it turn or shift, etc? Any general advice on the swap would be appreciated, too. I've already visited most of the websites from previous posts. thanks, all!
