Can I find another 5.0?
Looks like I am going to be forced to sell my 5.0 hatch in Europe because of technicial details. If so How hard is it going to be to find another fox stang with original miles under 70,000 under 5,000 dollers?

RE: Can I find another 5.0?
I baught my stang in Germany. The car hasn't been registered since 93. The man I baught the car from never regestered the car, nor have I thus his name or mine is not on the title. I owned the car for 1.5 years and finally am moving back to the States. I want to import the car back to america. In this case I need to have my name on the title wich is not possible because it will cost over 10,000 simply in tax to register the car in Denmark. Otherwize I need the last name on the title to sign the title over to me and make a bill of sale. I can't find this god dam guy so it looks like I am ****ed. The car has 65,000 miles and has been gararaged for nearly 11 years and I would be heartbroken to give it up. It totally sucks!

That might be my only option. I'm not sure If I can even sell it here because I have no proof of ownership. I got a bill of sale from a different name that is whats on the title. I'm really no mechanic what do you think it would cost to get the job done proffessionally if I put the tranny and motor and rearend in a Notch or a 4 cilinder swap?

It's not too hard to forge a signature and I'm sure that they won't compare it. Write a bill of sale that is supposively from him and forge his signature. That's the only way that I see how to do it. Otherwise, sell the car there and find another nice fox body in the states.

RE: Can I find another 5.0?
you can find a 5.0 here but it is very unlikely it will have under 100k miles and never been modded.
i remember u saying u were moving to MA, I live 20 minutes north of Boston and the fox body market here is growing but the amount of fox bodies is drecreasing so an average 5.0 with over 100k miles is going for 3-5 grand
i have however seen some pretty crazy deals.. like a GT with a brand new engine and other parts selling for $2800 but usually those cars are filled with rust.
u would be better off buying a stang for like $1000 and putting $4000 into it.
