Default getting a/c fixed [a/c is fixed]

ima take my car in today to my brother's uncle's shop today

but i dont think im getting a cheaper price but o well

so i was wondering how much you think it would be for them to make a new hose *and charge the system*

it is the hose that is towards the drivers side and back of the engine bay and on top

They still have to charge the system after replaceing that line, To replace that line and charge the system i would say about $150.

That sounds about right. Most places would charge around $50 to recharge the freon anyways - plus the installation and hose. $150 should cover it.

well its metal..not really a hose, but couldnt think of anything to call it

and the last a/c shop i went to said they need to make a brand new one..so idk

I don't know where you guys come up with these prices. The shop I just left would be like this. First, that hose is about 200.00 retail. 80.00 to install, 120.00 to recover, evacuate and recharge the system + freon and dye. That's about a 500.00 repair. easy.

ok guys aviod where pro works you can find those hoses all day long for about 10 bux in your local junk yard...now r-12 isn't cheap either is evac'in the system...80 bux to install that hose is crazy high about .25 hours @ 65 hr

well i dropped off the car

it took 75 minutes to get there and its only 20 miles away

gotta love Los Angeles traffic on the 10 to the 605 [:'(][:@]

ill let you know how much it will cost..i should have her back tomorrow
