Default Clutch question.

Everytime I press down really fast and release, (When the cars off) The pedal makes a squeeking noise... When I'm driving sometimes the tranny is easier to shift when its cold than when its hot..... What could be the problem, everyone keeps telling me that its my clutch but it acts fine and doesnt slip or smoke.

Default RE: Clutch question.

Is your clutch cable and quadrant aftermarket? My pedal made the same noise before it fell apart. The cable came off of the quadrant, which immediately killed my clutch.

I'm not sure if anything has to be lubed, but if you hear the squeeking inside of the car, it's probably your pedal/quadrant and or cable assembly.

Same...I have a centerforce stage 2 and when I release the clutch pedal with the engine off it makes a little squeaking noise...no slipping or burning though.
