Default When racing...
Is everybodys shift point or powerband hi at 4500 rpms on a stock mustang. Also anybody that upgraded to 3.73s did your shift point change and if so where is it right around.

max power is reached at around 4,500, but maintains it till little after 5,000
i shift around 5,000-5,200rpm seems to make the most out the power band.

Of course that will change a bit with different combos

I thought verts had a higher gear ratio then the hatch and notch

when my car was stock i shifted at 5500 and i have 3.73's

I shift around 5K and I have 3.73s. I shifted around the same point when stock.
