i was running open headers for a while in my car haha that was great loudest thing i have ever heard and i didnt have my center console i could see the trans and the road so when i drove at light i have a blue light flash everytime i shifted or let off the car (flames) it was great till i almost got pulled over

And I don't mind the sound of straight pipes...but it does sound better with mufflers.

That's pretty bad for your valvetrain you know...
And I don't mind the sound of straight pipes...but it does sound better with mufflers.

i ran open headers on my stang for a day. sounded like a friggin top fueler! i drove it home from school and i guess two cops tryed following me, but the traffic was too bad for them to catch me! i didnt know cause my car was so loud.

Ok, so this isn't his car, it's mine, but this is how it sounds when the stock exhaust is cut just before the mufflers (the rest is still there, clearly, but it's not going though it). If straight pipes sound kinda like this then I think it's cool too, but a little loud for my tastes. At low speeds though, when accelerating, yeah it sounds like a truck or tractor heh, which I don't like.
I realize this is really pointless as a video, but it's what I had.

My brother used to cut the exhaust on his cars back when he was in high school, the loudest was his '73 Ventura with a 350 lol. Sounded like a monster truck! Waaayy too loud.
