Default crank problems

this has been touched on in a few forums but i just wanted to make sure; when my car is warm the motor has a very hard time starting "sounds sluggish" i went to auto parts store and had to battery/alternator checked and they were both good. i was wondering if i would need to invest in a msd ignition system.

If you go to a regular auto parts store, ask them for one for a 94 / 95 5.0. It is the smaller, more efficient, more powerful starter and should bolt up no problem.

yeah personally i would go with the newer starter also. they do wire up a bit different though. I think 93's had the high torque starter also.

personally I like the msd, ignition would not be making it crank slow though. and if I remember right from doing mine, to run the newer high torque starters (93 and up) you just need to run one 12 gauge wire from the fender mounted solenoid to the starter mounted solenoid.
