I just installed flowmaster exhaust today. so now im lookin at new x/h pipe. ive heard o/r H-pipe sounds best and gains most power. but what is the difference between x-pipe and h-pipe, in both performance and sound?

There really is no difference in perfomance. The x-pipe will produce about 2 HP more over the H.

H-Pipe = Louder and Deeper (Sound Best On 5.0's)
X-Pipe = Raspier, High Pitched (Sound Best On 4.6's)

i personally think O/R x's sound sick on the 5.0

just get an o/r h-pipe it will sound 200x better

haha and i personally think that putting an x pipe on a 5.0 is sac-relig.

yep its only a hp or 2 difference..but the sound is different

yeah prochamber would be my second fav. after the x-pipe on a 5.0 .... i honestly like the sound the h-pipe makes ... but it's the same sound everyone else has ... so i can live with the raspy-ness of it! LOL
