Default Door guards, rain guards?

Im looking for something that will bolt on above my door to keep rain from falling down into my car when I open it up. It like sits under the top black piece thats bolted to the top of the car where the top of the door meets. I know trucks have them but there has to be something sleek and nice for a mustang.

damn mines red. well i highly doubt that ford let these doors come like this stock. but all my doors and stuff are lined up properly. does anyone else have the problem i do? drops of rain just sit there at the top of my door and fall right in when i open it up.....

yeah i know what you're talking about; the little plastic bubble-like guards that go just under the upper part of the door frame. the problem with the "rain guards" you're talking about won't help the problem b/c they mount onto the outside of the door itself. they are just used mainly to help deflect wind with your windows rolled down, or to be able to lower your window a couple of inches in the rain and get ventalation w/o getting wet.

the problem you're refering to is excess water that gets trapped inbetwee the door and the roofline itself and is kinda' sitting where the weather striping is at. when you open your door it pulls that excess off and down onto you!

yay!

i just make sure that i don't pop out as i'm opening the door if it's wet out. i open the door first and let it drip off then get out. keeps about 40% of that water off of you, but really there's not much you can do. if you are having a lot of water dropping from up there however, you might want to check around the weather striping to make sure there is nothing causing a build-up of water up there.
