put my car on the scanner and had a heart attack!
I have a 94 5.0 i just did a whole bunch of work to it and its running rough. one of my buddies got an older vette and i need to tune my car right to show him up! I threw the scanner from advance auto parts on it and like two pages of codes came out I have no idea what they mean or how to fix them PLEASE HELP!!
I did the koeo and the koer tests on my car, it says koeo egr sensor below min voltage code 327, I dont even have the egr anymore so thats ok right? it also says koeo canister purge sol circuit malfunction during test code 565, memory code 113 act/iat/vat circuit above max voltage -40 F Indicated, memory code HO2S Bank 1 system lean code 172, and the same exact thing for bank 2 code 176. also says memory code 211 profile ignition sensor circuit malfunction. memory code 542 fuel pump secondary circuit open pcm/fuel pump gnd. also memory code 556 fuel pump primary circuit curcuit malfunction.
it also says koer code 314 thermactor AIRsys inoperative during self test, and, koer code 311 thermactor AIRsys inoperative during self test. and koer code 632 trans ctrl sw ckt no state change during self test..

holy u got a crap load of codes
before u even attempt to resolve them.. reset the computer.
disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and then drive the car around for like 20 minutes and see wat codes u get

i just put on one if those schrader valve fuel pressure gauges and i set the fuel pressure to 39 on the gauge, i had to use a 1" extention to make the gauge work do u think cause i used the extention the fuel pressure in lean causing the 02 sensors to read lean?

that unknown item is the canister purge solenoid
There are 2 lines on top. one should be attached to manifold vacumn, and the other should be attached to a hose connection on the charcoal canister. It looks like an old fashioned metal gas can, but made out of plastic
on my 87 is it bolted to the frame rail on the pass side.
+1 on reset the computer.

ok ill unplug the batt and reset it. thanks for your help its supposed to be beautiful out tomorrow so mabe after work ill bring it back to the store and scan it again.. thanks for your help ill be back tomorrow nite!
