if you had full msd ignition or any h.o. ignition system what are you gapping your plugs at?
afr reccomends .42 with autolites 2924's...my plugs look great,but wondered if .5 would be too much?...i always hear you can open up the gap if you had a good ignition system,and i also know too big of a gap your cylinders can blow the spark out.
just wondered what people have tried which worked or didn't work.
plus i'm bored at work...

that's what dss told me to do regardless if i was s/c or not....
i heard the same thing "oh you can gain 5hp with upping the gap to such,and such"....if that was true hell we all would be doing it..

If they pick up 5 horses, those plugs were gapped waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too small in the first place. Big gaps don't really help combustion much it's more a thing of ensuring it gets lit.

ok it's 3924's...i keep thinking 2924's for some reason.....s/c guy's with afr's are running 35 gap....
did you know those are 94 protege plugs?
