Default Computers for Mass Air

Does anyone know exactly what to look for when buying a computer? Is there a certain sequence of letters/numbers to look for? What are the prefered computers to get for a 5 speed?

Thanks for the site. Just what I was looking for. I know the A9L is highly recommended, but are there others that are just as good? Any to stay away from?

The x3z will require some other changes in the MAF, so avoid that. Plus it is generally not as aggressive as the A9L.

The A9L is the best to go with, and the most likely for you to find as it was quite common.

Correct, the X3Z was the 93 cobra computer and it changes the MAF readings to work for the 24# inj's, even though the cobra MAF is calibrated for 19's. I'm running the A9P since mine used to be an auto, and I've had no problems with it. The A9L is the genereal consensus for best manual computer, though.
