What do you think of this trade?
A guy wants to trade me his 1992 Mustang GT 5-speed for my 1995 Taurus SHO 5-speed + $2k. Do you think it's worth it?

id test drive the GT thoroughly and if it rides and handles as well as the SHO grab it
how many miles on the SHO they are notorious for needing new timing chain every 60k
if the 5.0 was maintained it wont need anything except oil

I wanted a Mustang before I ever bought the SHO, but I didn't have the money at the time. My car has 109K miles and his has 130K, but he has a few intake, exhaust, and suspension mods. I love my SHO though. I have at least a week before we trade (if we're going to) so I have some time to think it over.

SHOs don't have timing chains, they have belts and they should be replaced every 60k.
He wants ME to give him $2K and my car.
Yes, they REALLY suck to work on, but the car is awesome.
