Best Oil

RE: Best Oil
Dude do NOT go with Synthetics if you're motor has never had it in there before, you'll start getting oil leaks, especially if you have a tired motor. Just stay with a non-synthetic, I use the Valvoline High Mileage oil (for motors with over 75,000 miles) and it works great.

RE: Best Oil
i buy the full synthetic supertech oil at walmart, its very cheap compared to other synthetic oils and it says it's a high mileage formula...
Edit: IIRC it's made by Pennzoil and Quakerstate.

I swapped my stock 302 at 190,000 miles, with no leaks.
The BEST oil is CLEAN oil.
I used Mobil 1, because it is easy to find locally.
I used to use Redline, but only a couple of the local parts stores stock it.
Changing the oil at 5k miles with synthetic is acceptable in most cases. But it is still a good idea to change the filter at 3k miles.
