Saved up my $ and going mod shopping!!
time to buy the parts to go with my new motor.. here is my shopping list so far:
new 306 short block w/ forged pistons
AFR 165's w/ hardened push rods
E303 cam (since im in smog hell aka Cali)
1.7 Roller Rockers
1-5/8 BBK Ceramic coated shorty headers to my existing O/R X-pipe
TrickFlow Street Heat Intake
1/2" intake spacer
70mm TB
3.73 gears
Black Magic electric fans w/ aluminum radiator
BBK Underdrive pulleys
70mm MAF
Tweecer tuner
w/ these mods on their way should I go to a 24lb injector setup or would I be able to stay w/ my stock fuel delivery system? Any other suggestions on things I would need or that will be beneficial? What kind of ¼ times should I expect w/ these mods on a 5 speed w/ current mods listed below? I appreciate any useful input..!

you might want to buy new fuel rails too, because ford ones are known to not all be the same diameter when being made, maybe a new fuel pump too, with those 24's. adjustable fuel pressure regulaters are nice, new fuel filter is up to you

Get yourself a new fuel pump (255lph is plenty even with a s/c) a new filter.. yes, adjustable fuel pressure regulator and have it at about 40lbs. If your not running 12's with that set up Im gonna wonder whats wrong with you

Lol.. yeah well I want to be the guy on the track that makes people say OH **** he just smoked that guy and he even had his top down!! As of right now I have a couple grand ive been saving up (thanks to a license suspension, uhhh) so I think im gunna buy all my parts @ once and then have the motor built and then just drop it in like a champ. I'd be happy w/ low 13's but 12's are even better.. i think I can live with that.

Yea, as long as you can get tractions you shouldn't have a problem with those times. Def go with the whole fuel system too. I'm in your boat with the suspension but only for ten days. I'm two in and it's already torture[8D] I've been pulling random stuff off my car and fixing it up since it's not going anywhere for a while, Just finished up the two metal pieces at the top of the windsheild frame. Got them all stripped and repainted due to some rust.

You're proably not putting out enough horsepower to need new fuel rails. I read stock are good till about 450hp. Also, don't forget about the computer, espessially with the cam and injectors.
