Just match your intake opening with your T-body size. I have a GT-40 as well and mine is a 70mm, so I matched it with a 70mm egr and 70mm T-body.

I think I'll go with 92hatche's set up. 70 and 75.

the opening on the GT-40 intake is only 70mm so dont go any bigger. Depends on what mam you go with. The C&L 76mm is about 150 bucks or the 80mm for about 160

5.0...since you are going to do the head swap, go ahead and go w/ the 70mm TB and 75-76mm Maf.

There are several reasons you want to avoid too big of a TB.
1--like they said, the intake will cause interference if the opening is not as big as the TB.
2--you can lose air velocity if the TB is too big
3--The MAF needs to be at LEAST the same size as the TB, but a larger MAF helps keep air velocity up. If the TB is bigger [like the stock setup], the MAF becomes the restriction.

It's a great set up, I didn't lose any bottom end torque and I felt a gain in the upper rpms, this was with the stock intake. When I add the TF manifold, with a CAI, MAF, and a TB/EGR spacer the gains were just wild. I paid about 180 bucks total for my 70mm BBK TB, 70mm BBK EGR spacer, and my 75mm Pro-M MAF. Damn do I love e-bay, there wasn't one thing wrong with any of it either.

If I would've bought that stuff brand new I would've spent about 550 dollars.
