hey my friend has a 94 GT and he just put in a crate motor....its a 308 with trick flow stage 1 cam, trick flow twisted wedge heads, GT40 upper and lower intake with 1 in spacer, 1.6 rr's, 30 lb injectors, 76 mm MAF with C&L intake tube, K&N filter......he dynoed 248 RWHP and 305 RWTQ.....keep in mind he has a AOD....and this was after a tune...he has stock exhaust and his odl engine had an oil leak and 6 cats, so we ebelvie this is holdign him up, but in a couple days he will have BBK shorty unequal length headers, Bassani catted X, and 40 series flowmaster catback.....what do yall expect him to dyno after the exhaust which is def. holding him up.......and if u didnt see the first dyno numbers, what would you have expected him to make? sorry if it was long lol thanx

Seems kinda low for all that......comparing to the mustang they did on Horsepower tv....thought they did the whole Trick flow thing and go like 275HP.

Why didn't he go for a trickflow intake???? That's probably worth a few ponies over the GT40 intake. The exhaust, to this point, is very restrictive on his set up, expect a 30 hp gain (give or take) when he adds a full exhaust. Also he could gain quite a bit with a larger throttle body. So let's put it this way, his stock TB is restricting his intake and the stock exhaust is not allowing it to flow. Tell him to get a 70mm TB and EGR spacer along with that full 2.5" exhaust and expect to gain quite a bit.

Thats honestly probably about right with the AOD and cobra intake. What kind of accessories is he running? A/C, P/S, smog pump, clutch fan or elec fan?

I have a 308 with TFS stage one cam, twisted wedge heads, 24lb injectors with a TFS track heat intake and a 5 speed, elec fan, and no smog and I made 304rwhp 320rwtq

for what i know...it's not matched very well...30lb inj. with that stock computer is going to be tuff to tune without a computer mod of some kind...the aod does zap power, but hell so does my tko...so yeah figure a 18%loss there.

car looks really good but his intake, tb, lack of exhaust and those huge injectors need to change. does he plan on spraying on the car? like 125-150? if not then he probably doesn't need the 30#'s but almost all of those things listed is restricting him from making more power
