I actually heard that it was good to cap them lines off. Because it basically defeats the purpose of having a CAI. You are trying to have the coolest airflow possible and your just mixing it with coolant thats 200 degress flowing through it.......... get what I am saying?

That is just what I have heard......
well youre egr valve is doing some egr'n the exaust gas witch in return is double the water temp so it is realy cooling the intake charge. been there done it dont work remember this is this learn from our mistakes thread.

well if youre putting a cai on your car to get more air in, what happens when it gets in and you have a stock cam? its only going to bring in the same amount of air, so the cai was kind of pointless to put on? see what im getting at?

if your cam brings in say 145cfm of intake with your stock air filter at a given rpm, putting a cai on isnt going to help, cause thats the max cfm it will pull.

if youre brakes squel "i cant spell" on your 87 stop and replace them cause its not that little warning tab leting ya know ya got about 50 miles left to go because my 87 does not have this little tab to let me know my brake pads are getting low. the squel is metal to metal grinding away at your rotor cause u have no pad left.
wonder if my 86 does.... cause mines squealing but hey i have some nice drilled and slotted rotors and kick *** pads on the way.
