since it was asked earlier, the best engine mod for a stock engine is the intake, the #1 and 5 runners flow a lot less than the rest

You can go with a set of 165's if you have the money and you CAN do a cam swap on a stock motor.... it just wont benefit you as much without a head swap. But to me, it sounds like shes just going for the sound.... not the power. If so, a TFS Stage 1 cam should be just fine.

well in that case what about heads? or any other area that 5.0s are in need of improving,
her engine is mostly stock- intake and a full exhaust
thanks
by intake, chevy boy, do you mean cold air intake, or do you mean the actual intake manifold has been swapped with a non stock piece. and full exhaust, including headers?

She has headers to go along w/ her h pipe cat back, not the nicest I've ever seen but they work, and her intake is just a cold air,
it seems like new manifold or heads would help her out the most.
Right now Im thinking that a new intake would be nice cus I know she wouldnt be scared off by that install (she likes to get her hands dirty but is often intimidated by some installs)
But we'll see. Thanks for all the help, I think Im starting to learn a little about these fords things

i would go with the intake and do the cam or heads later. you'll notice a good gain with it.
