Default idle problem with a twist

I have a 95 mustang with a 91 5.0 cougar engine, wiring, and computer. I have a high idle prob, about 1200 rpm. new iac,new tps, 1 5/8 shorty's, offroad h pipe, and a crane cam 444221 with matching springs. If I unplug tps it idles at 800 rpm, if I plug it in it idles at 1200. No vac leaks,30psi fuel pressure idle 40 psi WOT. I know the cam does no good for the engine without better heads and intake but it will in about 4 mo. when I get the AFR's 185 and Trick flow track heat intake but unfortunatally my money tree died so I have to wait till later. Any help would be VERY appriciated.

Im not familiar with the cougar engine, but 30 psi f/p @ idle sounds a bit low. Stock 5.0 in a mustang is at 39 psi... might want to lok into that.

eh its basicaly the same engine as the 5.0 in the stangs

i think it has a lower compression ratio cause i googled it and its only rated for 200hp

u should have went with the 3.8 S/C [8D]

actually the engine is the same the reason for the lower power ratings is the intake design.

I seen the fuel pressure specs are 30-45 psi I figured a fuel pump just didn't want to do it

Clear ECM memory and re-check.
