What should be the normal idle speed of a 94-95 5.0? with A/C mine is like 500 and without its like 750-800. also sometimes, like when i stop at a red light, the car stays at 1000 for a while, like prob 10 secs, and then goes down to the numbers i said before. Any of you guys could help me with this? the car is modified.
Try cleaning the IAC motor. When you turn on the a/c, the computor is supposed to compensate for the added drag on the engine and raise it back up. 500 is too low.
