Man, black snake, those look kick ***. What's the backspacing on those? I need 5.75 and most wheels I look at are 5.12 - around 5.52 unless they're 17x9.

If they don't go over my fender flairs, I'm gonna be getting the 10th Anniversary cobra's in 17x9 w/6.12 backspacing. It's ALOT of backspacing, I know, but I can't find that rim with less backspacing than that but more than 5.75 .

I'll throw some 245/45's on the front and 255/45's on the back. That's as fat as I can get without taking out my quads right? I'll get LCA's as soon as I can, but I'm kinda tight for funds for now... just like most of us hehe.

To tell you the truth, I'd rather get 18's, but I'm worried they'll rub.

it really depends on the wheel ive seen some cars with 275's out back and the quads still on, all depends on backspacing

ON the Subject, Im a little confuse on back spacing.

Is the larger the number the more back spacing there is? Or the smaller the number?

Is 5.85 a good amount of backspacing? Enough to fit 275s?

haha sorry i really do tend to get off-topic

but yes backspacing is in inches i do believe, so the bigger the number, the bigger the backspacing.
this is what i am lead to believe
im not too sure about tire sizes and what not though

Well that site seems pretty nice. I wish they had the damn 10th Anniversary Cobra's tho http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

6.12 backspacing, you think they'd stick out idiotically? 6.12 is roughly 1/8" more backspacing than you. What do you think blacksnake? Could yours spare a little more than 1/8th before it would be sticking out? I really want the cobra's, but if I need to, I'll get the FR500's in silver... they're certainly cheap.

*EDIT* I don't know about fitting the 275's with the quadra's on, but I know that backspacing has nothing to do with the wheel size. I think backspacing is the measurement of the mounting surface to the car-side of the rim.
