stiffer and lighter, is the way to go.

ride a bike(stiff), then ride one with springs on the front and back and watch how its harder to pedal(soft),

the hatch is very heavy remove the hydraulics and see, wonder if i can get it in fiberglass and id install a thin piece of plexiglass.

I was thinking about either going with the sportline or pro-kit. Whch would you recommend man? Also, i have to deal with speedbumps almost everywhere i go, including home, so do u think itll be a hassle? Also, how is it with a car full of people (4 people, including driver)? and lastly, i have 10.5' wide in the rear and 9' wide in the front rims, u think itll scrub if i lower mines?

sorry bout all the questions, thx in advance~!

I don't want to argue, but if your springs fell out the way you say, then I am pretty sure they were bagged. (Mine fell out cause they were broke) A compressor is the only safe way to remove them. And telling people on the internet that you don't need one is iresponsible IMO.

Yes you can get fiberglass rear hatch. But in street applications I don't see the benifit other then weight rreduction, but you are removing weight from the rear of the car which is bad for traction unless the front is already super light.
