Default 5 lug conversion? why?

At what rwhp is the conversion neccessary? I'm assuming that's the reason people switch.

I would have to say the biggest reason why people convert is because of the wheel options you have with a 5 lug setup.

and better brakes.... brake options suck with 4 lug but 5 lug has pretty much limitless opportunities. if your going to drag race your car the stock 4 lug is fine but if you plan on upgrading handling and braking, 5 lug is a good idea.

There are companies who make good brake kits, etc. for the 4 lug though, I still say its 90% about the wheel options.
