forget the rockers, get the heads and a cam. the cam will be cheaper than the 1.7's. the bigger rockers will do about nothing. go with TF or edelbrock heads. save the extra money youd spend on the afr's and get an intake too.

Go with the TW 61cc head.... I was considering that head and than it was recommended to me by many very intelligent people on the forums/and off. I am planning a tw heads, tf manifold, custom cam w/ a novi 1000.

a cam shouldnt cost more than 200. the 1.7's wont do you any good with stock cam really. 5hp maybe. what compression do you want? higher or lower? if higher get smaller combustion chamber, if lower comp, get bigger chamber. id go with something with a 1.94 or no more than 2.02 valve. bout 165-175cc.

Well you are going to want to decide on your compression now because you need to know that kind of stuff when you plan on getting a blower. Dont go with a high compression if you are looking for put a blower on.

well i run 185's...yes my pistons are flycut...i have zero power adder.
ORIGINAL: gspfunk

185's on a 302 are too much + you will have to swap your pistons or flycut them. For a 347, the 185's would be fine. If that's the route your going, then just buy them once, even if it won't help you as much now.
