what injectors and throttlebody size? turbo
alright so im going to be running about 18 psi hopefully on the turbo... so i was thinking 32lb injectors, 75mm throttle body and spacer, ported cobra intake to 75mm, and 76mm mass air? do i need to go with higher flow injectors and bigger t/b and maf? ill be using a stand alone fmu probly also. motor will have ported gt40 cast heads, mild cam and lifters, undecided on bottom end. thanks

What RWHP and/or ET are you shooting for?
IMO, I would go with the largest high impedence injector. I think 50's are the largest. Unless you plan to tune with some aftermarket software in which case I would go with an even larger low impedance inj like 72's. Those 32's aren't going to cut it...I've never heard of 32# inj for a stang.
TB is fine; however, I would go with an 80mm MAF meter min.
Those GT40 cast heads will be your bottle neck.
Install a wideband.
Your RWHP goal will determine what bottom end to get.

I would also buy a large injector for the intent to scrap that FMU. And I agree with an 80mm MAF, but I'd get a PMAS and stay away from C&L.

RE: what injectors and throttlebody size? turbo
damn i need that big of an injector?? ****. i would think it would run rich as hell like that.... but i mean im only going for maybe 500 hp maybe... i just love the feel of a turbo over a supercharger. just got rid of my turbo rx7 and i dont want anything other than a turbo... no bottom end will not be stock... i wnt to run a 347 but ill probly just end up running a 306 all forged of course.... so im only looking for 500 hp... ill probly just end up settling for like 15-16lbs of boost... that should be good for 500hp wouldnt you say?

RE: what injectors and throttlebody size? turbo
you will be running more like 550-600rwhp with that set-up.
you will also need a Dart or A4 block to handle that power.
check it out...... this guy is running 331 with A4 block, AFR 205's, stock cam, 70mmTB, 42#inj, 255 pump, 15lbs boost = 555rwhp

he also noted that this maxed out his 42's and was upgrading

RE: what injectors and throttlebody size? turbo
^^ Agree... you are definetly pushing your limits with a stock block. It would be a waste to build a nasty *** turbo combo and have it split on the third run!
