Default Installed C&L 76mmMAF - Now runs rough

Just installed this C&L 76mm MAF for 19lbs injectors.

is now running really rough, almost feels like one cylinder is missing or something.
sounds right, but lot of vibration at idle and when revved up.

Went on bone stock engine with timing advanced

I've tried clocking it back and forth a little just seemed to stay the same
or get worse.

Ideas?

that sounds like how an engine acts when the MAF is not hooked up. did you do anything to alter the MAF wires? stupid question, but is it plugged in all the way? did you reset the computer?

did you at least try resetting your computer by removing the negative battery terminal and leaving it off for a while, then reattaching it and letting it idle for a couple minutes to readjust itself, then drive it some

un-hooked battery cable, didn't drive it

does it need to run for a bit to smooth out?

leave it unhooked for a half hour. take it for a ride. when i put in new 02's, it took about 10 minutes of driving to run completely normal.

Have you reinstalled the old one to see if it goes back to normal? You sure you got the correct sample tube?
