i have my flowmasters dumped at the axle. if i put turn downs on the mufflers, would it sound different at all?

I dont know about tone, but it gets louder....way louder...

hell yea itll change the exhaust note ...... i went from turndowns on magnapacks to tailpipes and not only did it get alot quieter it also got almost nasel(spelling) sounding instead of deep....

i doubt it but you'll smell less exhaust fumes

itll be alot louder and deeper with turndowns and i would say yes.....

all that does is deflect the sound and seems louder...not deeper//i have turn downs cuz i like the sound and the dirt to fly when i drop the pedle

the sound was def diff.... i had my car on a lift when i had turndowns and it was louder and deeper... had my car on the same lift when i had my tailpipes put on.... its was quieter and less deep.... but still sounded good

i live in a city, so theres no dirt! but..... theres plenty of construction zones or something. Ask ANYBODY from michigan and they will explain that in michgan there are two types of weather: winter, and construction.
