Hard to say really, My friend ran a 13.45@103 in the 1/4 BONE STOCK 2006 GT. You'd need more than gears intake and tb to catch that with a 94-95. My 94 gt is a second slower than his car, now with tires I know I'd be low 14 secong but HES BONE STOCK!! I have Pulleys, K&n, shorty headers , h-pipe and 3.55 gears.

WHY NOT get heads and intake? ? ?

go to pick and pull and find a wrecked 5.0 explorer or mercury mountanier 96 and up i believe have the GT40 iron heads and cobra style intake. switch over your valve train and throwon some 1.7 roller rockers. you can get all the parts for about 500-900 $ new gaskets too

then go buy a chilton manual and borrow you nieghbors tool set and do the work yourself. take it to a shop and have them tune the computer (i dont know how much custum tunes cost, probably not cheap)

and WALLA presto bingo bongo. with the mustangs high output cam and 1.7 rockers (210/210 .472 .472) versus the explorers cam (202/202 .440 .440) now you have about 265-285hp and not to mention your car whieghs about 150lbs less than the 05 so you should be able sqeek bye him

how old is this kid with the 05....damn kids and their money [sm=badidea.gif]

+1 those things are quick. my buddy has a 2006 Vert (verts weight only 120 more then a coupe) he beats me all day. I have a pretty good amount of mods, but i still can't keep up. I just filled my bottle so I'm going to run him again. Let's hope a 75 shot is enough to keep him guessing on what i did to beat him or at least keep up.

A 94 GT is a heavy car, if you swap the heads with the same material (iron cast) it is still going to be heavy, just buy yourself TFS or AFR heads try to reduce the load on that fat pig, CAM, cruise to 24 lb injectors, u/l intake manifold (this one you can get from an explorer 98 preferably they are GT-40E) and gears.
Good luck.

those new stangs run mid 13's bone stock so based on a 95GT's weight you'd need atleast 260-270hp at the flywheel. i want a new gt bad! on a bone stock 05GT, bbk swapped out the throttlebody and intake and gained 27hp and 38ft-lbs tq.

A friend of mine has a bone stock 5speed 05. He ran mid 13's all day long, but he knows how to drive. I'm gonna dare to say that this kid talking crap to you probably doesn't and will light 'em up when he takes off.

Timing, 4.10's, MAF, and full exhaust would be a good start, then you have a chance if you can drive.

I think you can do it w/o a power adder. You'll have to open up the intake and exhaust big-time. Ya'know, the usuall intakes, heads etc... Remember you have a weight advantage. Those new stangs are heavy pigs, albeit fast heavy pigs. If he's got 300hp, you'll probably need 280 to break even, if your trans isn't robbin' too much power.
