What to do with $2000???????????????
I want more horsepower!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO NITROUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will have around $2000 at the end of this month.
I already have 3.55 gears, cold air intake, 65 mm t/b, JBA headers, BBK 2.5" exhaust, 40 series 2 chamber flows, MAC pullies, sub frame connectors, eibach springs, and a short shifter.
I have been looking into getting the Twisted Wedge Trick flow aluminum heads with the trick flow cam and GT-40 intake.
Or is there something that I can get that will make more horsepower?

start with your bottom end first, you cant do everything at once unless you've been saving for a long time. get a stroker first, then next year or whenever you get enough for heads, cam, and intake put that on. you'll have great gains. just my advice.

go with a 347 from either ESP (Eagle Speciality Products) or CHP (coast high performance) www.coasthigh.com a 306 is just an over bore.

If you just go with the stroker you should still be fine with the stock tranny. Unless you hammer it all the time they will handle a little more then they're rated at (stock ones are around 300?). There's also this as an option if you do have problems: http://www.5speeds.com/t5/gforce.html

Dude, get the heads. Single biggest improvement. If the bottom end doesn't need to be rebuilt, then don't muck with it right now. All you're going to do is try and shove even more spent gasses through the same restrictive opening. The stock heads can't keep up with a stock motor, let alone a 347.
Personally I got the Edelbrock Performer heads, but if I were to do it again I'd spend the extra money and get a set of beefy AFR's. Mine's not a daily driver so I'd go 205 or 225 or whatever.
Forget the GT-40 intake, get a professional products intake and pocket the extra couple hundred bucks

i agree with horatio, go with the heads and cam. a stock bottom with heads along with your other mods will be some good hp gains. you can bolt this stuff on(except the cam of course) and ride. you can always go back and stroke it. why pull the motor, stroke it, put it back in with stock heads and stuff. then go back and pull the heads again?

All depends on your plans. If you want power now then heads and whatever else are a good choice. If you're planning a long term buildup then it can't hurt to get a nice tough bottom end while you have the money and go from there. It's all about what you wanna do.
