Crate Motors? Worth it?
you guys think crate motors are worth the money they cost? and do you think with a 450hp long block, trick flow intake upper and lower, 150shot of nitrous- run 10's? and if u add'd a 10pound supercharger possibly high9's?

They are not really worth all that money unless your looking for a straight drag car.
Only thing I think is worht the money is a DSS block with a 4 bolt main. I believe those motors can suport 800 hp.
Just buy a DSS short block and put whatever mods you have on your current motor and swap them out. Then maybe you can see some serious gains.
