If you like an idea take it, if you have an idea please leave it. Hopefully this will get interesting with good worthwhile ideas.

1. Rear suspension- 4cyl. springs and a good set of worn out shocks. helps some worth the money.

2. Electric fan I usually find the best ones on buicks made in the 80's they are square but if you brake the old mounts off them and drill new holes they mount up nicely inside the existing fan shroud.

There are tons of these low budget tricks to do guys such as remove the baffle, bump timing, stuff that will just help so add if you can and take what you like! If there are any questions the the stuff I posted

Some times the cheapest way to go faster is not to add power but subtract weight.

Words of wisdom. Whats the general rule of thumb? 100 lbs is worth something like .1 second?

Idea #3 - If you have a Mustang and a girlfriend....get rid of the girlfriend...you'll be amazed at how much more mods you can afford...

ps...I guess that adds value to what SOSSLOW wrote......if you don't have the horsepower to spend more money.....then take some weight off and get rid of your girlfriend.

Or at least remove the passenger seat and make her sit on the floor.

No loss. When I changed engines, everyone wanted me to ditch the A/C, screw that.
