If someone has pictures of the location of the harmonic balancer and where the line for timing would be i would really appreciate it. Im trying to find it on a 94 GT I think the line just might be dirty but i cannot find it. Ive searched and searched. Its not on that map that is stickied so i was wondering if someone could either post some pics or just describe it. Thanks.

its the right behind the pulley that is closest to the ground. it has little marks on it w/ numbers, i think the base timing is 10* btdc.

So do i need to go under the car to find it?? Sorry its just i really know nothing about this. Im going to have a family friend help me out seeing as he knows more about cars, but id like to at least figure a little out. Im planning on adjusting the timing and maybe get a little better performance out of the car.

Yes, get under the car, right in front of the oil pan, you should see the harmonic balancer and etched into the surface you will see marks etched into the metal. The picture here is it, but is no rotated to see the marks. Get someone to bump the ignition until it is facing downward toward you.

Be sure your friend puts it in neutral!!!
