Default Dyno Results

Well I told you id post them and yeah I know they arent impressive but the car is basically stock except for the manifold and exhaust..The dyno guy seemed like an idiot, he started by fixing my timing and started by putting the light on the #2 plug..DUH..he said yeah it looks like the timing is way off..then I said doesnt it need to be on the #1, he said oh yeah..it was at 18 degrees and I set it to 12..anyway the chart was from 60mph-105mph in drive? not OD...anyway I dont think it was too bad for basically stock but if you wanted to see how the SSI works here you go...I also wish he would have ran the whole rpm range..maybe Ill take it somewhere else and rerun it...

That's not too bad for a mildly modified 5.0 with an AOD. Did he take out the spout connector when he checked your timing??? Are you sure that he set it correctly. I wouldn't let anyone **** with my car like that, especially someone that doesn't know how to check timing. I'm running 15 degrees of timing on 87 octane and I'm not pinging. I would have had him raise it a couple of degrees, atliest to 14.

With that power curve flat like it is from 5000-5800 shows that you are doing something right.......

Well it was pinging before i took it in and its not now he had a younger guy come in and time it correctly...Im somewhat happy with the results I wasnt looking for a lot of power yet because i have to do exterior paint before I heavily mod it but for the stock guys looking at what a few mods do I figured id let them know...thanks for the replys

Seems kinda low for some of the mods you have. BBK SSI intake, with ported and polished heads etc.? I would think you would be around the 225-230 hp mark. Anyone else with these mods and numbers?
