what do you mean getting head redone? new heads or just cleaned up? or ported? with my car it did break loose if i just punched it at a stop but my trac lock was toast and it was 1 wheel wondering on me. I wouldnt be surprised with stock gears if both tires are trying to go that you dont roast em. if you want to roast the tires just power brake it. i got my new 3.90 gears installed along with having my trac lock rebuilt and itll break loose now no doubt with both tires.
how much did it cost for the install, gears, and trac lock rebuild?

pretty much everything..

it was just over 500.00 total to get everything done. I ordered my own gears and rebuild kits. then it was like 3-4 hrs for them to do it. so grand total for my gears installed and trac lock rebuild was around 530.00 if i remember correctly.

no 530.00 for EVERYTHING including gears and the track lock. It woulda been alot higher if i would have had my mechanic get the gears and rebuild kits for me though, thats 4 sure!

yea its a BADASS mechanic. Ive been going to since i turned 15 and got my first car. tried a few other mechanics as well since then ( including ford dealer) but none have been the same quality and price. I am dealing with ONLY this mechanic now. Funny thing is that its a little shop not alotta people know about but damn they are good. Best part is they have 2 life size replicas of the blues brothers playin that jazz with the dark sunglasses and all on top of the garage. Its funny as hell.
