14.6 @ 101.8 mph. how accurate are they?

not very accurate. we put on in my friends honda and it said it ran a 12.9 and then we put in my mustang and it read 13.6 (i've ran a 14.23 and the honda probably runs a 15.7

the only way i see it to be accurate is if it came installed with some type of GPS in it, which it doesn't

i've ran one a the track a few times and in a few different cars and they dont really work that well at all. even if you dial them in to the weight of the vehicle and calibrate it every time you use it. i wanted one before i used it too, fortunately i didnt get one

i heard if you have a softer suspension that squats more when you accelerate it shows more power.... and also if you grab it and lean it back as you accelerate it reads a lot more power... I wanted one too, but i guess not!

That's a pretty high trapspeed for a 14.6 run, what was the 60ft. reading. I've heard on some peoples cars they are within a tenth of a second and others are just way off. Only real way to find out is to go to the track. But for some people it will give a pretty good ball-park estimate.

101 mph is good for a high 13 run, and your mods are not enough to produce that much power, they are also usually off a few mph as well. Personally I have not found them to accurate at all. Don't ever quote one as what your car runs.
