changing Fuel Filter??
In changing the fuel filter--how do you relieve the pressure in the fuel line in order to change the fuel filter. ....my car's fuel pressure is shooting up from 37lbs to 60lbs...i have a new fuel regulator and the s trim is bogging on me when i'm on it......So i figured it has to be the fuel filter or fuel pump right???appreciate the help.

did you put the end to the tank on first.......how much gas spilled? is that the same when changing the fuel pump?

not too much gas spilled..maybe like a couple ounces
i pulled one end of the line off of the old filter
and then i plugged that end into the new one
so it looked like this ----[] []----
the -- are the line's and the [] are the fuel filters
haha cheap "picture" but it works
and then i unplugged the other line from the old filter
and plugged it into the new one and i was done
im not sure of which one i changed first, i was under the rear end of the car
facing the front and looking up, i pulled the line out that was on the right of the filter

Enersha Switch.. (Doubt that's how you spell it LOL) but anyways it located in the back of the trunk where the tail lights are Almost positive, and what you do is take the two pannels off from the inside of the trunk directly behing the tail lights then unplug the connector to the enersha switch and then start up the car and let it die, once you do that, your all set. You may still notice a little gas leaking when your dealing with the fuel system but the pressure should be releived.. I read it in the chiltons repair manual.
