i just recieved my auburn pro diff in the mail i paid close to 550 for it and now that it came i find out on the comp from sum pple that they are junk! im nervous now what should i do?
My brother has an Auburn in his Firebird, its strickly just a drive to the track race and drive back type car so it doesn't get much daily driver use. He runs 12.70's on the motor and 11.70's on nitrous with 1.7's in the 60. He's had it in there for I want to say about 6-7 years now. If you are really worried about it tho, yea send it back and get something else. I personally have a True-Trac in mine, I got it since my car is a daily driver and it doesn't have any clutches to wear out.
Unless they got smart, the prob with Auburn LSDs is that when the clutches wear out, they take the case with them. Otherwise, they do work better than plate clutches.
