When getting my gears changed noticed when diff cover was getting taken off both back coil springs are snaped/broken right at the top. clean brake at the top almost appears at quick glance that they were a clean cut lol damn.

Questions what type of affects could one see with broken coil springs? from small affects to big, please provide your feedback.


I will be swapping to another stock set as got afew buddys with sets laying around, or would it be better off to go aftermarket since they gotta be changed anyway?

is the broken piece still wedged in there or does it look like sumone cut it to lower the car alittle? cause cut springs arent exactly good for handling but it wont hurt anything

Piece is not there or widged in place. clean brake/cut but doesn't seem clean enough that someone did it to be a cheap *** to lower the car lol.
Never noticed it until gears were being changed. can it hurt and make for real ruff ride or affect launch when giving her out of the hole etc.

ya itll affect launch..... get eibach drag springs or sumthin similar and ull notice a big azz difference

sounds like a cob job whoever cut them down, i would just invest in a good set of Eibach's ... it's worth the $$$ jmo though good luck
