Transgo Question Regarding Valve Body
Want to use the AOD-HP kit from Transgo, but it says it's for 84 and up. Unfortunately I have an 83. However, under the description it says "(1980 to early 83 use late 83up VB)". Does this mean if I swap out my current valve body with one from a later year I could use this kit?

RE: Transgo Question Regarding Valve Body
Nowhere I could see. Just some 626 number.
Anyhow, I called and was told if I swap out the VB I have with a later model one I'll be good to go. Just can't use one after the 3-4 accumulator was eliminated(89).
Soooo, who's got an 84, 85, 86, 87, or 88 valve body laying around they don't need?

RE: Transgo Question Regarding Valve Body
Talked to a friend and he's actually got one laying around. How lucky is that?
Not sure what year exactly, but the casting code is something like HF-E4XX-somethingorother. The E4 in there means it's an 84 doesn't it?
