im a fan of the 393 or larger varients. back in the day the 347's were pretty bad at oil control, im not sure if its better now or not (i wouldnt think its to much better as the oil wring is still over the wrist pin on most kits.

My point. I walked into a sporting good's store...a salesman tried to sell me a fishing pole....I told him...I don't need another pole.

Looking at me disgusted he said "Sir...you must be confused...this place does not sell need's"

No you do not need forged YET. You have any idea how many times someone has called me whining about tearing a friggin' motor apart because they failed to have some insight when they started? After 17 years of messing with these things, a little extra on the front end pays off in the end...end.

But everyone has the right to their opinion. No you do not NEED forged. It is nice.

SCAT is NOT a bad product. But there are better.

[&o] okay...I am through with this topic.
