here is EXACTLY how to do it http://www.allfordmustangs.com/Detailed/71.shtml you dont neec to mark the harmonic balancer it already has the markings on there. If you cant see them go under the engine with a piece of sandpaper and LIGHTLY touch it to get the dirt and crap off. You will see the markings then. Good luck.
