my idle is getting worst and worst. when i first crank it in the morn it is really rough and usually cuts off. when i cahnged the oil in my car a couple days ago i took off my idle air conrol valve and srpayed some carb cleaner stuff in it but it didn't work.

any other sugestions that could be the problem?

Have you cleaned your throttle body and MAF? Have you tried resetting the idle by unhooking the battery for 20 minutes or so, unplugging the IAC, reconnecting the battery, start car and set idle with screw on the back of the TB, reconnect IAC etc.?

i didn't know there was a place where i could set my idle.

take to parts store like autozone they can do a small scan on ya car and tell you what it is somtimes..
