Default Newbie: mustang build-up?????

I have a 92 gt which is basically stock. I'm looking to have a high hp daily driver. Where should I start. It needs an engine rebuild but where in the engine; heads, headers, cam, ect? Eventually I would like to add a single turbo to it or possiably a supercharger? What would i need to imrpove throughout the car for that? Any ideas and or suggestions would be great!!!!!

You'll want a rebuild, maybe a 331 stroker or 347. The pistons and rods should be forged and the pistons should be dished to match the heads you want. I've always liked the turbo stangs, but A LOT of guys here run blowers. You'll need to upgrade your entire fuel system; pump, rails, pressure reg., inj's, etc. You'll need to pick your intake, heads, and cam for the blower.....There is more, but that's a start.

^^ Yea but he wont be able to run a built 347 stroker w/ a turbo or supercharger on a stock block. I say do a stock rebuild, make sure everythings running right and slap a turbo on w/ supporting mods.

Thanks for all the info! Now, heres a stupid question but i've been talking to a couple other people i know and they confused me to death. Whats the difference between a 331 a 347 stroker and a 302 H.O.?

Basically higher displacement. IT leads to more power in the long run. When you bore over the block it raises the displacement and the number too. Chris

By the way, sometimes this means changing the crankshaft and otherparts also.
